Corvette C8s in 2020 Production Are Now Available To Dealers

You can now order your new supercar with mid-engine.

The production of Chevrolet’s 2020 Corvette C8 was officially launched on February 3. New video shows that the first assembled models of the supercar, which cost less than $60,000, are now heading to Chevy showrooms across the country.

Although it may seem blurry, the footage was taken at 8:35 pm CST on March 4. It shows at least four auto transporters with 2020 Corvettes fresh off the assembly line at General Motors’ Bowling Green, Kentucky plant. This video was captured by an exterior camera that is installed at the National Corvette Museum.

The CorvetteBlogger has posted the delivery status of the first assembled C8s. It’s now updated from its initial “Null” status. The article states that “It’s an exciting day for Corvette” and those who will soon be receiving their 2020 Corvettes, as well as for Corvette enthusiasts.

Chevrolet’s revised plan was to start shipping assembled Corvettes in February or March. It’s likely that the automaker kept its word. The manufacturer has received more than 300 orders, many of which are from Japan. It will need to continue to produce at a steady pace to meet demand. You can also order the Corvette C7, but remember that less than 2,600 examples remain. If you’re one of the fortunate ones who have placed an order for 2020 Corvette C8, the car will likely be on its way to your local dealer very soon. Motoring enthusiasts and motoring communities are excited about the new supercar.
