The Stage 1 package includes an optimized ECU, stainless sports exhaust system, and a “performance filter solution”. This allows the 2.0-liter four cylinder engine to produce 220 horsepower (164 kW), which is 23 bhp (17.kW) more. Customers can order an optional frontpipe with a spherical resonanceator to increase the output to 220 bhp (164 kW). A performance manifold header is also available, which increases the output to 230 horsepower (171 kW).
Cosworth also suggested other packages that increase the output to 325 horsepower (242kW) or 380 horsepower (283kW) in “racetrack configuration”, but they declined to give more details.
