Straight from McLaren dealers in the U.K.
McLaren has a very predictable Ultimate series of supercars. The F1 was the first supercar, and then came the F1 GTR, which is track-only. The race car participated in international races, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. F1 LM was next, which was the road-legal GTR version.
McLaren Glasgow, a UK dealership, posted images on its Insta page of what it believes to be a Senna LM official. This Senna is known as the Senna Le Mans Edition (gallery below), and it looks more aggressive that its regular counterpart. However, there are alterations such as cooling holes on the front fenders and a new set of wheels. This Senna comes in a gray color with orange accents and carries the LM badges.
Here’s the deal. There have been several reports this month about the Senna LM being delivered to dealerships. The Supercar blog reported that an orange Senna LM arrived at a dealership. However, the blog did not mention the specific dealership from which the photo was taken. We are quite amused by McLaren dealers allegedly spotting these Senna LM’s and officially announcing them.Which one is the true Senna LM? McLaren has not yet revealed the Senna LM. The truth will only be confirmed by McLaren when the British automaker provides official details on the Senna GTR’s road-going version. This could be very soon.
