Nissan has developed a new Z car.

Nissan announced last week that there would be a new generation of the Z sports car. The teaser didn’t show much, but 11 new models were also revealed. We’re eager to see the next generation of Nissan’s Z sports car. AbimelecDesign was also excited by the news, as they reached back into the Z’s history and redesigned an iconic model with a new body style, a Roadster, allowing the coupe to enjoy some sun.

It was a tedious task to create the renderings. Abimelec Design created a trunk custom to the vehicle and slightly increased the width of its fenders. Shelby Cobra windshield was added to the roadster’s sporty styling by Abimelec Design because of its missing roof. We can also see inside the car’s tan leather, round gauges, and tall shifter thanks to the missing roof. Abimelec Design stated that the straight-six engine would be kept.

Although it’s too soon to know if Nissan’s next-gen Z sportscar will feature a retractable roof or not, the company’s current financial position makes it difficult for a low-volume vehicle to make sense. There have been many rumors that the Z car will sport a retro design. The Z car teaser last week is a strong attack on the Datsun240Z nostalgia. It is sporty and small, with a more calm, modern styling than other sports cars.

Abimelec Design’s final product is breathtaking to behold, especially when the trunk is opened to reveal the tan leather and brace between shock towers. The classic American Racing Torq Trust wheels, which are as simple and clean-looking as the 240Z, complete the look of the roadster. The teaser suggests that the next-gen Z car could represent a return to form for the icon.
