Deus Vayanne Electric Hypercar Debuts In New York, Promises 2,200 HP

Williams Advanced Engineering is onboard as well as Italdesign. Deliveries are scheduled for 2025.

It seems that for every supercar you buy, there are at least three others in development by startups with high-performance goals. These vehicles are built solely from ideas and computer-generated renderings. However, the Deus Vayanne is real. This newcomer also has the support of some well-known brands so it may just succeed where many others have failed. The Vayanne, an all-electric hypercar made from Deus Automobiles in Austria, is the latest. Very New company. The company was founded in 2020 with the aim of creating niche electric hypercars. According to the automaker, 99 units are currently planned for production. It qualifies as niche and has over 2,200 horsepower (1.641 kilowatts), making it a hypercar contender. Its overall form, which Deus calls a “design language that symmetry and infinity”, is definitely exotic. It is not merely a stunning rendering. The covers were removed from the car at the 2022 New York Auto Show. The interior of the vehicle is slick and has an organic feel similar to its exterior. The Vayanne’s infinity symbol is prominent in the design of the front and taillight designs, but it’s also visible in the shape the dash. Two-seater has a digital instrument cluster with a small touchscreen in the center and a large bank of switches about which we don’t know anything. It looks great, so we approve.

You want to learn more about this powertrain as an electric hypercar that produces 2,200 horsepower. Unfortunately, Deus has not yet provided any details about the powertrain. The power output is predicted at over 2,200 horsepower. As such, Deus’s 0-100 km/h (0-62 MPH) sprint time of 1.99 seconds, and its top speed claims of 400 km/h (248 MPH) are also predicted. Oh, dear.
These claims have been made many times by startups, but Deus isn’t alone. Italdesign and Williams Advanced Engineering are partners in this venture, which is clear proof that they are not startups. In case you are wondering, Williams is indeed connected to who was Formula 1’s Williams. The company also has a lot of experience in motorsport, including electric performance. Although we don’t know the exact source of the 2,220 horsepower, there is real hope that it will be available soon. Deus will start deliveries of its 99 Vayannes if everything goes according to plan in 2025.
