Tires are unbeatable with 797 horsepower.
Dodge has horsepower madness. Clips have been dropped for all Hellcat-powered Dodge vehicles. This particular video features the 2021 Charger Redeye which is also known for being the most powerful production sedan on the planet.
The clip will progress and Dodge will share additional best attributes related to the Redeye. It boasts the highest power-to-weight ratio, best-in class V8 power, and best-in class torque. The quarter-mile time for the new Redeye is 10.6 seconds. The Charger Redeye may also be the best-torque-killing sedan ever, but it does not come with the all-season tires. It probably won that title with any tires on the back.
The Redeye’s debut video did not mention Dodge’s claim that the Redeye is the fastest mass-produced sedan. The four-door, spacious sedan can reach 203 mph. This is straight up supercar territory. Although the BMW Alpina B7 is a little faster than the Charger Redeye, it isn’t produced in the same number of units. The numbers that will be made next year are at the very least.
Although we think the majority of Redeye buyers are interested in the car’s incredible straight-line performance, this video and Dodge’s Redeye press releases suggest otherwise. This video, unlike the Challenger SUPER Stock videowhich featured the car in drag racing format is filled with corners. Dodge claims that the Charger Redeye is 1.2 seconds faster than the Charger Hellcat on a 2.1-mile road track. The suspension settings between the Chargers are the same, but the difference in speed is due to the power.
Redeye customer deliveries are expected to start next spring. Although pricing has not been disclosed, we believe that the Redeye will start at $80,000.
