Dodge Charger Widebody Ute from Smyth Performance Looks Hellcat Ready

dodge-charger-widebody-ute-smyth-performanceOrder conversion kits for the current generation Charger. Delivery starts in August.

The Smyth Performance crew’s ute conversions are a big hit with us. Some of these cars have been featured here, including the adorable VW Beetle trucks. They also make conversion kits for other vehicles, such as the sixth-generation Dodge Charger. The company also makes conversion kits for a range of other vehicles, including the sixth-generation Dodge Charger that arrived in 2006.

The pickup bed conversion for the seventh generation Charger has been officially announced by the company. It is available for purchase now. Three renderings of the final product are included with the announcement. They were created by Oscar Vargas (WB.Artist20 on and).

It may look similar to the conversion for older Chargers. According to Smyth Performance, the new kit contains 90% of the existing parts. There are styling changes on the sides that blend in with the Charger’s new body. The rear surround is one-piece, and the roll pan has been updated. It took a lot of time to incorporate the new shape without having to change the fuel filler location.

This is more than enough for Charger Widebody conversions, or to simply create a widebody rig using a standard model.

Technically, the 25 first special edition conversion kits went on-sale a few weeks back. The pricing is still not available. The kit for the 2006-2010 Charger costs $3,590. The cost of installation will vary depending on where the work is done, but Smyth Kits make it easy. Although we know that the widebody adds $1,000 to the cost, it is worth it if you are building a Charger SRT Hellcat Ute.
