Order the military-themed appearance package in May.
Dodge claims its cars are extremely popular with the brave men and woman currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces – especially the muscular Dodge Challenger or Charger. The automaker has created a special edition package called the Stars & Stripes Edition to highlight both models.

“Dodge is well-known for its ability to deliver custom looks right from the factory. Steve Beahm from FCA, North America’s head for passenger car brands, said that we also have a strong following among buyers who are military and patriotic. The Stars & Stripes Edition offers the chance to create a unique look that speaks to performance enthusiasts who are passionate about their country, as well as adding unique elements to the Charger or Challenger.
The Stars & Stripes Edition adds some cool touches for an additional $1,995. The most obvious feature is the huge, over-the-top Satin Black stripes with a silver edge that runs along the driver’s side. The corners are adorned with a set of black 20-inch wheels. Special badges identify the model. You’ll find special black-on black interior accents and a bronze star embossed into the seats. The instrument panel has a special badge and accent stitching in bronze. You can’t have a Stars & Stripes Edition if you don’t have the American flag somewhere. It will be visible on both the front fenders in low-visibility military-spec black.
American Muscle
Dodge has some new news for Charger Hellcat customers. This muscle sedan gets the Painted Satin Black Appearance Package, which was only available to certain Challenger models. For a more intimidating look, the roof, trunk, and hood are given a dullish black coat. Dodge will also be expanding its similar-themed Brass Monkey Appearance package to other Charger and Challenger models.
The 2019 New York Auto Show will see the new Stars & Stripes package make its debut and will be available to order starting in May.
