Dodge Offers A Gold Rush Charger To Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

A pot of automotive gold.

People around the globe can see St. Patrick’s Day in different ways. Some celebrate the life of St. Patrick while others enjoy a pint of Guinness and wear green. Dodge sees this as an opportunity for the Gold Rush paint option to be added to its Charger model.

The paint scheme was first introduced on the 2020 Dodge Challenger to celebrate its 50th anniversary. It’s back now for St. Patrick’s Day. The Pot o’ Gold paint is now available for the Charger R/T and Scat Pack Widebody models.

If you want to keep the Challenger paint scheme, don’t worry. It will still be available on the 2021 Challenger T/A and T/A 392, SRT Hellcat Redeye, as well as the SRT Hellcat Redeye. Apart from the St. Paddy’s promotion Gold Rush joins Dodge’s heritage-inspired paint colors. These include Frostbite and Sinamon Stick as well as F8 Green and Go Mango.

Tim Kuniskis (Chief Executive Officer Dodge Brand), stated that the Dodge Challenger Gold Rush received a tremendous response from customers. We’re sticking with the Dodge formula of distributing our most popular options throughout the lineup and offering Charger customers who desire the Gold Rush color the option to have it on their four door muscle car.

The Dodge Charger also enjoyed record sales in 2020, with its best Scat Pack year ever. It was also the top-selling vehicle in its class for the eighth consecutive year. Dealers can order vehicles for potential buyers who wish to be part of the Gold Rush in 2021.
