Hot-weather testing in Death Valley revealed that the Dodge Viper Coupe and Roadster versions of the next-generation Dodge Viper.
Dodge Viper is back, and we have the first spy photos of the coupe and the roadster versions of the Dodge Viper doing hot-weather testing in Death Valley, USA.
The prototypes seen here wearing Michigan plates are already sporting the new chassis. Unmistaken, the rear end of this car is from the previous Viper generation.
We can still see the changes in the car’s shape and the new intakes and headlights under the camouflage.
Under the long bonnet, expect an 8.4-liter V10 unit with MultiAir technology borrowed by parent company Fiat. The output should exceed 600 bhp (450kW / 608 PS), and 560 lbft (760 Nm), respectively.
The Dodge Viper 2013 will be available in the second half of 2012 or early 2013.
