Dodge Viper Hesitates When Racing Stelvio Quadrifoglio In Alfa Ad

Kimi Raikkonen drives the car.

Kimi Raikkonen continues to be The spokesperson for Alfa Romeo Europe. He stars in a new, humorous ad featuring a Stelvio Quadrifoglio and a Dodge Viper. The performance cars meet up for an impromptu drag racing at a stoplight that doesn’t end the way you would expect.

The advertisement begins by showing the Stelvio Quadrifoglio cruise along a coastal road. The spot showcases features such as the crossover’s performance-focused active suspension and 8.8 inch infotainment screen. A black sports car appears behind the Alfa. The vehicle is clearly a Dodge Viper, as can be seen from a better view.

This is the Viper of the 2000s and not the final model. The emblem is also removed from the hood by the commercial manufacturers and taken off the steering wheel. Because the Viper is so distinctive, taking off the badges won’t hide anything. Alfa Romeo and Dodge, both Fiat Chrysler Automobiles brands, should not be concerned about promoting other companies’ products.

To start a race, the Viper driver presses the throttle. But the Stelvio’s window opens to reveal Raikkonen at the wheel of his crossover. The Iceman puts the car into Race mode. The Viper driver loses his confidence and the car starts to crawl away from the lights.

Recent updates were made to the Stelvio. Alfa upgraded the infotainment software with a faster processor. Highway assist is now available with adaptive cruise control and lane-centering. New colors include Ocra GT Junior, Rosso 6C Villa d’Este and Montreal Green. The Quadrifoglio still produces 505 horsepower (377kilowatts)
