The original lineup of cars for the first Fast movie had been completely different before Lieberman took over. Dom’s car was the most original, and it was meant to be a front wheel-drive, V6 Buick Regal, if Lieberman didn’t step in.
A Mitsubishi Eclipse was another original casting, and was meant to be Bryan O’Conner’s car rather than Lieberman’s twin-turbo Supra.
