All-electric campers are becoming more popular than electric cars. While electric cars are becoming more popular, all-electric campers are still a common option. However, extended off-grid camping trips often include propane and sparse use of electricity. Retreat Caravans, based in Australia, has a new product called the E-RV. It is fully electric, as the name implies. It doesn’t require campers be too careful about power consumption. The E-RV is packed with luxurious features, which is a good thing.

This camper trailer’s core is its electricity source. The power is stored in a 14.3 kWh 52V lithium battery, which has a 5,000-watt Inverter that delivers it to everything, including a refrigerator and induction stove. This kind of power is what Retreat Caravans loves to display at events.

A full bank of solar panels can be mounted on the roof to keep the battery charged. It can produce up to 2,033 W for the largest E/RV model. The trailer can be powered while it is being town. There is also a traditional shore outlet for connecting to outside power.
