This Hennessy-tuned Ford Mustang costs $139,500.
Would you be willing to pay $139,500 to buy a 2016 Ford Mustang. Let me rephrase that. Is it worth $139,500 to buy an 805-horsepower, 600-watt, Hennessey-tuned Ford Mustang with only 18 miles? Much better.
This Hennessey Ford Mustang GT25th Anniversary Edition is still more expensive than the average pony car. However, some people might find it worth the high asking price. This is one of only 25 examples made by Texas tuning company to celebrate their 25th anniversary. It produces a lot of power and looks great.
The exterior is finished in a beautiful ruby red paint job. It also features a carbon fibre front splitter, carbon-fiber side sills and aggressive Hennessey lightweight 20-inch wheels with Pirelli P zero tires. Some 25th anniversary badges are added to complete the look. It’s a beautiful car with subtle upgrades, especially when you think about what’s under the hood.
The Ford V8 engine is rated at 5.0 liters and Hennessey has added a Whipple supercharger of 2.9 liters. This produces the 805 horsepower (605 kilowatts). The package also includes a carbon fiber high flow air induction system, an upgraded axle-back exhaust system, fuel injectors and a KW Variant 3 lowered spring system. There are other features, too, including a Whipple supercharger, upgraded fuel injectors, a carbon-fiber high-flow air intake system, and a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger. This package comes with a six speed manual gearbox.
There aren’t many upgrades to the interior. Some Hennessey premium floor mats and embroidered seat backs can be enough to warn you about their imminent demise. The purchase includes a 25th anniversary certificate and a 3 year/36,000 mile limited warranty.
Only three days remain on the auction for those who have deep pockets and a passion for Mustangs. The seller will allow you to either “Buy it Now” for $139,000. Or make a similar offer.
