This fast, long-roof Merc was driven by F1’s legend for seven months.
Michael Schumacher was a member of the Mercedes GP Petronas Formula 1 team in 2010. He received a beautiful Mercedes-Benz C63AMG wagon to use as a company vehicle. It was his company car until July 2012. Then it was sold to a Swiss gentleman. It will be sold by Bonhams auction house on February 3, after it was changed twice more. It is a car that has a rich history. The vehicle has covered approximately 152,000 km by the time it was photographed for this advertisement. It has been described as being in excellent technical and visual condition. It was purchased by the last owner in 2018 and has had all its services performed at the local Mercedes-Benz dealer. Between 2007 and 2015, the W204 generation of C-Class was made. The C63 is its most powerful. The black C-Class wagon houses a 6.2-liter 32 valve V8 engine that produces 450 horsepower (336 Kilowatts) as well as 443 pound-feet (603 Newton-meters). Through a seven speed automatic gearbox, the power is limited to the rear wheels. The acceleration from 0-60 miles per an hour (0-96 km per hour) takes approximately four seconds.
The attached gallery shows that there are some small things that could be fixed, at least in terms of visual aspects. The headlights are a little foggy, and the paint on front fascia shows small scratches to the clear coating layer. Although the leather in the driver’s seat may not be perfect, it is easy to fix. What is the price? Bonhams anticipates numbers in the range of EUR50,000 to EUR100,000. That’s $56,524 and $113,000.50, respectively, at current exchange rates. This car is a beautiful example of old-school V8 power and has a great pedigree, despite its high mileage.
