This story was originally intended to be posted during the Geneva motor show. However, we decided to put it on hold, particularly since had already covered the story quickly prior to its official release. We now have all the details and a set of new photos.
Hunzenschwil, a Swiss tuner, has created a widebody kit called the Gullstream for the Mercedes SLS AMG. The body kit consists of a front bumper that has vertically placed daylight running lights and widened fenders. These flow seamlessly into the sides skirts, then back into the quarter panels. A diffuser supports the carbon fiber extendable lip spoiler. There is a roof scoop with a non-functional function. A 3-piece, 10-inch and 12-inch concave Evolution wheel provides footware. Additionally, a Koni coilover suspension is available from the SLS GT3 race car. FAB developed a stainless-steel sports exhaust system that features an integrated valve control, four classic round endpipes and one pair each on each side.
The power output has been increased from 571 PS (420kW / 563 BHP) to 615PS (452kW / 607bhp). The torque is slightly increased to 690 Nm at 4600 RPM. The FAB SLS Gullstream can reach 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and 200 km/h in 11 seconds (124 mph) respectively. The acceleration finally reaches 325 km/h (202 MPH).
