Fast & Furious Twin Turbo Watch has 832 parts, and costs Supercar Money $580,000? We are furious at the price After being delayed a few times, the ninth installment of the Fast & Furious action-packed series is finally out on June 25, after being delayed a few times. The F9’s launch is celebrated by an extravagant timepiece. The Twin Turbo Fast & Furious watchpiece, which will only be nine in total, was created by Jacob & Co of Switzerland. One for each movie. The watch is a sight-searing $580,000. Let’s not forget that it costs more than the stolen VCRs from the movie released 20 years ago. The first one was released in 2001. Feeling old? The big sapphire crystal face features imagery that harkens back to the original movie “Capture the feeling of living one-quarter mile at a time.” This design is not for everyone, especially given the high asking price. The timepiece features the Toyota Supra and Dodge Challenger tributes to the first movie. It also has the prominent “Fast & Furious Twin Turbo” lettering on its sapphire caseback, which further emphasizes the point. It contains 832 components, a decimal minute repeater, and an old-school reference to the “pit board”. This watch features a black titanium and forged carbon case with 88 parts. It also has twin triple-axis tourbillons that rotate at speeds of 24 and 48 seconds, respectively, along the three axes. Jacob & Co fitted the Fast & Furious edition of its Twin Turbo series timepieces with a black leather band and a titanium folding buckle. F9 will be released on Friday. However, it is not the end for the franchise. The series will continue with two more movies. Already, we can imagine another luxurious watch with a car theme to celebrate the end of Fast and Furious.
