Remade or destroyed?
Ferrari’s 250 GT is undoubtedly one of the most iconic models in the history the automobile industry. For homologation in the FIA’s Group 3 Grand Touring Car category, the V12-powered grand touring car was built between 1962 and 1964. Only 36 examples were made, and some sold for tens to millions of dollars at auctions over the past two decades. It’s not something you would buy to modify for a single project.
It’s not necessary, as talented automotive designers and Photoshop manipulators can transform any car into something as insane as this 250 GTO with an Off-road package. This one is from Rain Prisk, and answers all the questions that no one has asked. Literally.
It’s quite simple. The recipe is simple. This is what you would expect to find on a Land Rover, Jeep or other vehicle. However, in this rendering these modifications are applied to a red 250 GTO.
One very interesting thing was discovered in the comments section on Rain Prisk’s Facebook page. Many of his followers believe this isn’t a rendering, but a real car that has been transformed into an off-road beast or what they call a battlecar. You don’t have to worry, not one pixel of this rendering is real. This is digital manipulation and it’s a great one. The car’s real-life counterparts are safe from similar tuning, and that’s what it should be.
We want to hear from you – do you think this car could be ruined, or can it be improved? Rain Prisk put it that way. Please leave your comments below. Keep in mind, this is a design exercise.
