We have a UFO sighting.
Are you familiar with the Ferrari512 S Modulo Concept. We don’t. We can’t blame you; the show car didn’t really go into production after it was introduced at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show. Yes, pun intended.
Modulo is an unusual design concept. Just take a look at it. This car won 22 design awards for its unique design, which includes its UFO-like styling and front-sliding cockpit.
The Ferrari Modulo would have never been on the roads if it weren’t for James Glickenhaus , an automotive enthusiast who bought the concept car at Pininfarina with the intent to bring the exotic vehicle back into full operation. It looks like he succeeded.
This video shows the Ferrari Modulo being spotted at Villa d’Este during 2019 Concorso d’Eleganza. The car looks in perfect running condition with its unique styling and cabin entry. The massive 5.0-liter V12 engine, which produces 550 horsepower (410kW), seems to be in full swing.
Exotics that Graze the Exhibits of The 2019 Concorso d’Eleganza
This is not the first time we’ve seen the Ferrari Modulo on public streets. Glickenhaus showed the concept car last year via a video posted on Facebook. However, the body was still in development back then. It seems that the project is complete now, five year after Glickenhaus purchased the concept car.
We are not sure if the Ferrari Modulo will be street legal, but it is something we think would be quite impressive on public roads.
