Only 80 examples were built.
Exclusivity comes with a price – in this instance, $1.7 million for a Ferrari which is extremely rare. It is a 2011 599 SA Aperta. There were only 80 made, each celebrating Pininfarina’s 80th birthday.
What makes this edition so special? This special edition features the same 661 horsepower V12 engine found under the hood in the 599 GTO. The V12 can accelerate the car to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds and then to a top speed at 202 mph, all while the top is down.
Exterior is covered in an Avio Met light-blue finish, with a light gray stripe running down its center. Interior is covered in light Sabbia leather and the Ferrari logo is stitched in light blue on the headrests. The brakes and wheels are also made from the 599 GTO performance model.
It’s been very well maintained over its five-year tenure on the road or in a garage. It has only 957 miles on the odometer. A full service history from authorized Ferrari dealers is also available.
