Ferrari 812 Spied Testing in Spicy Flavor with More Powerful V12

Ferrari 812 Spied Testing in Spicy Flavor with More Powerful V12
There is nothing better than a Ferrari prototype. There are two of them.

The Ferrari812 has a speed of 211 mph (340 km/h) and a time of 2.9 seconds from 0 to 62mph (100 km/h). The naturally aspirated V12 engine is being worked on by the Maranello boys and girls. This will allow for greater power and performance. In an automobile world with increasingly stringent emissions regulations, the Prancing Horse can not only keep the 6.5-liter engine running but is also able to find other ways to improve the 812 Superfast.

Two prototypes were spotted wandering the streets of Italy, not one but two. To conceal the yellow cables and attach them to the body, a good old-fashioned duct tape was applied to the prototype with the license plate ending at “AT01”. Partially because they can be seen in the bottom-right corner on the passenger door, where the cables most likely continue into the engine bay.

It is a sign Ferrari was watching the engine under the hood. The engine, which already produces 789 horsepower and 718 Newton meters (530 pound-feet), without forced induction, is quite impressive. We don’t know how many Ferrari horses they will get but it’s likely that we’ll see a final output of over 800 horsepower to make the Ferrari worthy of the “GTO” label.

You will end up with one of the most powerful front-engined cars in the world, combining the increased output with possible weight loss and aerodynamic tweaks. When will the wraps be removed? The unveiling could happen in the next few months, as Ferrari promised two new models by the end of this year. The SF90 Stradale Spider is the most likely car. However, nothing is yet official.

If the Gran Turismo Omologato suffix is used, production will be limited in the same way as the 599 GTO.
