The V12 was taken to 829 prancing horse.
Novitec launched its aftermarket kit to the 812 Superfast in January. Now they are releasing a second generation package to the V12 monster from Ferrari. The “N-Largo”, a heavily modified naturally-aspirated supercar, is now 14 cm (5.5 inches) wider at its back due to fender flares that were mounted on the production body.
The standard fenders at the front axle have been replaced with a widerbody set, which adds 7 cm (2.8 inches) to the width. The Superfast has been given a wider width to enhance its presence on the road. These custom rocker panels are available in carbon fiber, or with a matte or high-gloss finish. They also optimize airflow between the fenders.
Maranello’s standard car has seen a lot of changes. The roof has a spoiler mounted at the top and a prominent wing at the rear. The hood features a new styled air vent and a modified bumper to match the larger shoulders of the 6.5-liter Italian machine. Novitec replaced the stock alloys with lighter 21-inch forged wheels at both the front and back.
The new suspension springs bring the coupe closer by 35 mm (1.37in.). The front end of the vehicle is raised by 40mm (1.57in.) using a hydraulic lift system. Protect the valuable underbody when the driver is faced with uneven surfaces. Quad exhaust systems with or without adjustable flaps improve power delivery and enable the engine to sing better (see video embedded at bottom).
Novitec is working to increase the power of the engine from 789 horsepower (588kilowatts), to 829 horsepower (618 kW). Although 40 horsepower may not seem like much, it is still significant. However, forced induction is not available on the engine and it is always more difficult to get more power from an NA engine. Torque is also boosted from 718 Newton-meters (553 lb-ft) to 751 Newton-meters (554 lb.ft).
The Novitec 812 Superfast will reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds, which is a tenth faster than the standard car. It will reach a speed of 214 mph (345 km/h) flat out, which is slightly higher than the Ferrari maximum speed.
The tuner claims that the car can be customized in any leather or Alcantara color. This includes the car’s wild purple-black theme.
