Ferrari is still testing it.
In November 2017, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 was revealed. It is the third member in the Icona family. The machine is certainly very exotic looking, with design cues that are inspired by the great race cars of Ferrari’s past mixed with futuristic touches. It is a rare and unique sight, and we are grateful for every SP3 that is taken on the roads.
Walter Vayr, our friend, was kind enough to share with us the attached photos. They were taken in Maranello, Italy. This is a Daytona SP3 with a cool camouflage that hides what appears to be a Maranello Yellow exterior color. Although we are shocked to see the disguised Daytona SP3 trial vehicle, considering the fact that the car was revealed more than six months ago, there must be an explanation. Side note: We saw the SP3 one month after its debut while still wearing camouflage.
The supercar’s front bumper doesn’t appear to be finished, and the other aerodynamic elements are taped. This could indicate that the Daytona SP3 has made some last-minute adjustments to its design in order to optimize its road performance. Ferrari may also be making final adjustments to customer cars before they are ready to be delivered. These are just speculations based on what we see.
However, we know that the Daytona SP3 is a stunning machine and a very fast one. The seats are powered by a V12 engine that produces 828 horsepower (617 Kilowatts) as well as 514 pound feet (697 Newton-meters). This engine is the most powerful Ferrari ever built and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.86 seconds.
The DaytonaSP3 is a future collector car. It comes with a high price to match its extravagant appearance and performance. Ferrari requires that each car be assembled costs at least $2.25million. However, even if you have the money to buy the supercar, you must be invited by the company.
