The Ferrari Utility Vehicle is not your average SUV.
If you believe that the Lamborghini Urus Audi RS Q8 and Audi RS Q8 five-door sports cars have a slightly higher ground clearance. Just wait until the Ferrari of SUVs comes out. It is more like an enlarged SUV. (hyper) Hatchback with a raised suspension. As the rear doors appear small, the test vehicle does not seem to have much space for passengers. The front fascia of the Purosangue is reminiscent of a Roma and it’s proud to display a quad exhaust system in progress. The Purosangue is an intriguing car, even if you aren’t a fan of SUVs like mine. After a record breaking 2021 when it sold more than 11,000 cars, the Prancing Horse will be able to fuel its sales even further. Although technically the 296 GTB is a plug-in hybrid, the SF90 Stradale and 296 GTB have small batteries (below 8 kWh), which provide a limited range of electric power. We expect the Purosangue SUV to have a longer range due to a larger battery pack.
The Maranello peeps have promised to keep the V12 in existence for as long possible. However, we will have to wait to see if it can fit into the Purosangue engine bay. The SUV will be able to ride on a new platform that supports air suspension, all-wheel-drive, and a four-seat interior. Ferrari has already announced when production will begin, so it is likely that the grand debut will be in the second half of 2022. Next year is expected to see deliveries to customers.
