Because a V12 Ferrari stock is too boring.
The main benefit of shopping for a car at the top end of the market is the ability to customize it. Luxury automakers offer a bespoke division that allows customers to choose from a rich color palette and many interior customization options. Ferrari can transform an 812 Superfast car into an automotive masterpiece with a unique finish.
Maranello’s Tailor Made arm had a pleasure of working with the naturally aspirated V12 supercar. They gave it a “Verde Pino” body color. The teal-painted Superfast rides with gold wheels on gold wheels. It also has dual hood central stripes in the same color as the fancy shoes. This spec was a great choice, as the 812 looks amazing.
The seats are wrapped in a leather type called Heritage Ghianda. “Heritage Ghianda” is the Italian word for “acorn.” Ferrari also used fabric inserts called “Kvadrat Umami,” which were used for the seat’s central section and bottom. The dashboard, central tunnel and steering wheel were accented in opaque black. The Heritage Ghianda leather surfaces, as well as Oro Lucido (shiny) areas, reflect the exterior of the car.
Ferrari is known for making highly customized cars over the years. This culminated in its long-standing tradition of producing unique vehicles with different interiors and bodies. This latest example is based on the 812 Superfast but has a completely new exterior design and the “Omologata” name. The Prancing Horse has produced no less than ten V12 cars since 2009, in addition to these highly customized “normal” Ferraris.
The 812 Superfast is about to be reborn as the 812 GTO, a sportier version. It may have more power and maybe even weight loss. Ferrari has been testing the Superfast for some time and will likely unveil it in the coming months.
