Ferrari sold more than 10,000 cars per year for the first time

The company’s net revenue was more than 3.7 billion euros.

Ferrari released its 2019 financial results. The Prancing Horse delivered 10,131 cars in 2019, which is 9.5 percent more than 2018. This was the first time in the history of the automaker that it shipped more than 10,000 vehicles. This strong performance resulted in a net income of 3.766 billion euro ($4.156 billion at current rates), an increase of 10.1% year-over-year.

With 4,895 deliveries, the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) was Ferrari’s largest volume area. This is an increase of 16 percent over 2018. The number of cars sent to the Americas by Ferrari dropped 3 percent to 2,900. Ferrari shipped 836 cars in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, which is a 20% increase. 1500 vehicles were also shipped to the rest Asia-Pacific region, an increase of 13 percent.

Ferrari’s V8-powered models saw an 11.2% increase in sales. V12 models saw a 4.6 per cent increase in demand.

In 2019, Ferrari’s sales of cars generated 2.926 billion euro ($3.23 trillion). Sponsorship and branding was the second largest income-generating segment for Ferrari, with 538 million euros ($594m). This was an increase of 4 percent from last year.

Five new models were launched by Ferrari in 2019, which kept Ferrari busy. It intends to introduce less products in 2020. We don’t yet know their names. The Purosangue is the brand’s new crossover. It will join the range in 2021 . The company has high hopes for it’s success. A new hypercar is also expected to be released after 2022.
