Ferrari V6 Hybrids to Debut Today: Check The Livestream
Livestream begins at 12:30 PM GMT/2:30 PM CEST/ 8:30 AM ET.

After endless spy shots and rumors, it is time to find out what Ferrari has been doing since the announcement of a hybrid V6 sport car in 2018. It will be the third electric car from Ferrari, replacing the hybrid LaFerrari/Spider and the plug-in hybrid SF90 Stradale/Spider. The Prancing Horse has been a master at camouflaging prototypes so the design remains a mystery despite the fact that dozens of test cars were seen testing it around Maranello over the past few months. Rumours suggest that the “Dino” moniker will be revived, but this seems unlikely given the fact that Enrico Galliera is Ferrari Chief Commercial Officer.
This possibility has been ruled out In 2019, back The possibility of a new Dino is possible, but the next machine will likely use a different name. The new Ferrari will be developed under the internal codename “F171”. It is expected to have a twin-turbo 3.0-liter motor and a single electric engine to produce approximately 700 horsepower. It will be a rear-wheel-drive-only affair or so we’re hearing, meaning there won’t be a front-mounted motor as it’s the case with the SF90 Stradale.

Next year’s purosangue will feature a modified version of the combustion engine, which will be the first Ferrari SUV. It is not clear if the V6 will be an all Ferrari engine or if it will have connections to Maserati’s Nettuno unit in the new MC20 supercar. This allows it to work on its own, without the need for a hybrid boost. Ferrari has not confirmed that the V6 hybrid model we’ll be seeing today is the new model. We know that it is a revolutionary sports car, one that can “define fun-to-drive.” Livestream begins at 12:30 PM GMT/2:30 PM CEST/ 8:30 AM ET.
