The Blu Tour De France is our favorite. What about you?
The 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari special edition was revealed last month. Although there were four color options back then, only one was visible in the photos at the time the story was published. It was the traditional Rosso Corsa. Ferrari provided us with the three other color themes and we feel guilty for picking our favorite.
There are three other color options: Nero Daytona and Argento Nurburgring. The blue would be our choice if we had to choose one. The combination of Tricolore racing stripes from Italy and a blue body looks great. 51 cars won the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship with Alessandro Pier Guidi & James Calado.
Another visual difference is a laurel to celebrate Ferrari’s win in the WEC and “PRO” letters to signify the class the car raced. The S-duct is matte black while the vents and rear spoiler are in naked carbon fiber.
The seats of the Piloti Ferrari are covered in perforated Alcantara and the Italian flag at the back. On the floor mats and the paddle shifters’ edges, you can also see the shower of Italian Tricolore. The number of AF Corse is engraved on the base of each steering wheel. The steering wheel also has 51 markings, and there is a carbon sill with identification plates to enhance the exclusivity of the Ferrari 488 Pista piloti.
The 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari can only be modified in a few ways, including the color finish and the racing number. The standard Grigio Corsa wheels are available in carbon fiber rims and matte black. You can also choose black four-point harnesses to replace the black seatbelts. A matte carbon fiber trunk cover can also be added.
Unfortunately, the 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari Ferrari is not available to Prancing Horse customers who are involved in race car programs. These specifications were created by Ferrari’s Tailor Made division specifically for race drivers. You’re lucky enough to be included on this list. The Tailor Made 488 Pista will be awarded an official Ferrari Classiche certificate.
