Today, Audi quietly released photos of the yet to be revealed Audi RS6 Plus. A closer inspection of the center console reveals a serial number plaque marked “001/500” which indicates a total production run of 500 units.

The previous RS6 Plus C5 generation also featured a shorter production run and a higher horsepower. The C6 RS6 is powered by a 5.0 twin-turbo V10 that produces 426 kW (580 PS / 5571 hp) as well as 650 Nm (479 lbft) in standard form. Expect to see a comfortable increase in horsepower above 600 PS (441kW / 592 HP).
