$2.1 million is a large sum for any item, except perhaps a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. That’s the amount that was put on the table at the Scottsdale 2019 Barrett-Jackson Auction for the car pictured above. It’s a 2020 Toyota Supra. But there’s more.

The VIN is a distinctive feature of this Supra. The last five digits of the VIN read 20201 – which indicates the model year of the Supra and the status of the Supra’s first production unit in Austria. In general, the first one of these cars is considered to be yours.

However, that’s not the only $2.1-million winning bid. This Supra is the launch edition model, and it gets special badges and red mirror caps. The exterior color of the new A90 is Phantom Matte Gray, but it will be obvious to those who are keen observers. This color is not available in the Launch Edition options, making it an exclusive vehicle. Additional extras such as a Toyota racing suit or a photo signed and signed by President AkioToyoda of Toyota were included in the purchase. All proceeds went to charity.
