Fisker teases new electric supercar on Twitter

The rear end reminds us of a muscle car with cues.

Henrik Fisker posted a tweet revealing a teaser for his upcoming electric supercar. The tweet showed the car going through its first aerodynamics and downforce tests. The tweet was later deleted, but a member the Moto1.com team took screenshots before it disappeared.

Fisker stated that the vehicle is in a “segment that doesn’t exist today, period.” Fisker also stated that the vehicle was tested “amazingly.”

This image is a result of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), testing. The cloud-like texture is an indication of how air flows off the body. This stuff conceals a lot so that we can only see small areas of the vehicle’s exterior.

It has an overall appearance that vaguely resembles a muscle car. Although the front of the body appears smooth, the rear fenders stick out. The rear deck is flat and there is a red stripe of brake lights along the top edge. A similar stripe can be found on the lower part of the trunk lid.

The roof, which is smooth and black, is not as angular than the rest of the design. We wonder if the top can be removed or folded out of the way.

This vehicle doesn’t appear to have any unique features that would make it stand out in the EV market. Fisker may still have some secrets about this supercar.

Fisker is close to bringing its Ocean crossover to production. It’s also teasing the Alaska pickup. This vehicle is a grand tourer that would offer Fisker something new than its more utilitarian offerings.

Henrik Fisker has a lot of experience in creating GTs. In the 2000s, he was Aston Martin’s design director. He helped to create the DB9 as well as the V8 Vantage.

It is not known when this vehicle will be launched. We don’t know Fisker’s name. We will keep an eye on Henrik to see if he drops more clues.
