Five-year-old caught driving to California to buy a Lamborghini

He decided to make it, as his mom wouldn’t let him buy one.

Update: This Lambo-loving five year old has been noticed. According to KUTV , just one day after the incident became viral, the family met with a local Lamborghini proprietor who took the child for a ride. KUTV News and the family say that they have received numerous offers to ride in Lamborghinis.

We hope the parents of this five-year-old boy are able to read this article and see the silver lining. The SUV was operated by the youngster without any problems. He also drove the vehicle on the highway with no injuries. He also pulled over quickly and stopped when Utah State trooper Rick Morgan switched on the lights and siren of his cruiser. There are many mature men, often not wearing shirts, who lack the wisdom and common sense to deal with the law. This kid made a smart choice.

It all started with a not-so-smart choice, as described in a tweet by the Utah Highway Patrol.

After an argument with his mother, this boy decided to set off on May 4 for California. The youngster, for reasons that we can’t understand, was forced to climb into his mom’s SUV and travel west. His motivation? His motivation? He had $3 in his pocket to pay for the purchase.

We do get it. Who doesn’t want a Lamborghini. We are a little jealous of the kid’s drive to make it happen. We have all been there. Ready to pull the trigger on our dream cars only to be turned down by someone else. We don’t condone anyone under the age of 18 driving a supercar to California or any pilgrimage. However, if you are able to drive legally and have the determination to make your dreams come true, then go for it.

Yes, this is indeed the real story. According to CNN Trooper Morgan pulled over the car expecting to find a drunk driver. Instead, Trooper Morgan found a five year-old boy who couldn’t even reach the pedals or see outside. The parents were not at home when the joyride took place, so the child was left with a sibling. Because we are dealing with at most one young person, all family members can remain anonymous.

What now? According to the report, any punishment for the parents will be decided by the local prosecutor. We suspect that punishment has been given to the future Lamborghini owner with steely eyes. Although we have taken a funny tone, we are very glad that nobody was hurt.

This incident will hopefully be a one-off that everyone can remember and laugh about in the future. Here’s a message to mom and dad. As a consolation gift, get this young driver-in–waiting a Hot Wheels Lambo when he is not finally grounded. He did stop right away for the police. It’s got to be worth something.
