Flat Out Autos is launching a 2-door Chevy K5 Blazer Revival

This project is still in its infancy.

Two-door SUVs are a remnant of simpler times, when people had to buy what they need in a vehicle. Flat Out Autos has a new Chevy Blazer conversion to recreate the classic two-door model. The SEMA Show will be the official debut of the finished product. This project is still in its early stages. Flat Out Autos’ Facebook page shows that some work has begun, including the elimination of the rear passenger doors and the reduction in the body. The Chevy Tahoe’s original bodywork will not be used in the final product. This includes the front doors. Flat Out’s other K5 Blazer suggests that this vehicle will likely ride on the fourth-generation Tahoe platform, which was in production between 2015 and 2020.

The SUV’s interior has been stripped to the bare minimum in Facebook photos. However, the dashboard remains intact. Word is spreading fast. The SUV has already received paint. It is a two-tone, white-over-blue color scheme that matches the company’s original K5 Blazer prototype creation. The rear quarter windows have been adjusted to match the original K5. The company will keep track of the progress throughout the year up to the unveiling.

Flat Out Autos’ design may not be for everyone, but it is evident that the company’s high-quality workmanship is second to none. The K5’s two-door version will get the same round headlights and iconic grille with crosspiece as the K5. Customers could purchase the four-door K5 for $69,900. Customers would be responsible for providing the donor vehicle. If Flat Out Autos offers the Blazer version, we expect similar results.
