It is a hypercar-like vehicle with General Motors power.
The Bugatti Veyron, despite being more than 10 years old continues to be an engineering marvel. Only 450 are available, and they sell at high prices. There are many replicas available to make the hypercar more accessible for those who don’t have the means. Although this one is currently listed on eBay for $125,000, it’s still not the best.
This imitation Veyron is located in Florida and has a title that reads 2005 Pontiac GTO. Although the seller doesn’t give any details about mechanical details, it appears that the car has a 400-horsepower engine from General Motors as well as a five-speed manual. This car is likely to have the same 6.0-liter LS2 engine and the same gearbox as the GTO. It looks just like a Bugatti. The flaws are more apparent the longer you stare at it. The front fascia is a bit off and the side scoops are too small. The interior is also not up to the quality of hypercar brands.
There are also several modifications listed by the seller, such as a custom sound system and motorized wings, and an adjustable air ride front suspension. A 2005 GTO can be purchased for just $15,000 today. The new buyer must decide if the Veyron-inspired bodykit and other upgrades are worth $110,000.
The last GTO-based Veyron copy was purchased by the owner for $115,000, even though it still needed a lot of work. This example is much cheaper than the Audi A6_ and Mercury Cougar-derived knockoffs. However, still has something cool and bizarre about it.
