Ford Announces Mustang Black Accent Package with a Name ContestThe Blue Oval pleaded with the Blue Oval to keep the name family-friendly, “or else we will tell your mom.”

The Ford Mustang’s sixth-generation S550 is coming soon, but the Blue Oval has not yet been completed. Ford officially announced a new black accent package for its outgoing Mustang generation in a tweet. Ford made the announcement with an engaging request: Fans can submit name suggestions for the special edition.

If you are interested in showing off your talent at naming things, please submit your suggestions to a dedicated site for the contest.

All legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia are eligible to enter the contest. All entries must be received by June 7, 2022 at 8:00 PM EDT. The contest winners will be notified by email.

Ford advised that entries must be in English and should not contain any offensive or inappropriate names. Ford urged that the company keep the name family-friendly, or else they would tell your mom.

Ford has not yet revealed any details about the car, other than the black pony badge and black-painted aluminum wheels. Although this isn’t the first introduction of a black accent package, Ford has kept the older versions unaltered and the 2022 Mustang Stealth Edition. The contest was initiated by the Blue Oval, who felt it necessary to pair this package with a signature title.

The new Mustang was spotted on public roads while it was being tested. Although it has been seen on several occasions, reports indicate that the n ext generation Mustang will not debut until April 2023. This is April 17, the date the original Mustang was introduced to the New York World’s Fair in 1964.
