A new Bronco model will be available on February 3.
The Ford Bronco returns to off-road racing in 2021 King of the Hammers. Vaughn Gittin Jr., Loren Healy and Jason Scherer are the drivers of three custom-built trucks in the ULTRA44400 unlimited class.
Although the truck’s bodywork looks like a Bronco Bronco, the trucks are very different from the rest. The custom tubular chassis supports the wheels and is positioned far from the body. The suspension was redesigned with shocks that have a lot of travel to soak up the rough terrain at high speeds. The SUVs can traverse the rough terrain thanks to their four-wheel drive.
California’s desert is covered by The King of Hammers, which runs for 90 miles. It combines rock crawling and high-speed sections. There are 450 teams participating in the race, which will take place on February 6.
“King of The Hammers inspired us, to ensure that every Bronco model produces the ability, durability, and high-speed offroad experience this growing community has been trying for their own,” stated Mark Grueber (Bronco marketing manager).
Ford has announced a new Bronco model, the King of Hammers, on February 3rd. The Heritage Edition, which is joining the lineup in 2022 , might be the vehicle that premieres there. There are not many details available about this SUV version at the moment.
Ford has been integrating its SUV into its motorsport activities since the unveiling of the revived Bronco. Baja 1000 saw the Bronco Race Prototype take part in the Baja 1000 . Bronco Sport also won the class in Rebelle Rally.
