We are still waiting for Ford to recall us.
Launching the Ford Bronco on the market was not easy. The manufacturer had to deal with a significant delay due to COVID-related supplier problems. Ford is now able to deliver the Bronco, but will need to address new issues arising from the 2021 Bronco’s production quality. The Bronco6G forum members are complaining about problems with the off-road vehicle’s roof. It may show a honeycomb- or snakeskin-like pattern. Owners have reported that the texture is fine and only visible from touching it.
This is not the end of the story. Others have reported problems with the headliner separating from their roof panels. The raw edges may fade, creating small cavities due to material loss. Some photos also show uneven gaps. This is what PREMiERdrum has reported: Ford may not be aware of the problem, but owners of early 2021 Broncos have begun to report it back to their dealers. The problem is related to the roof’s laminate quality, according to another user on the Bronco6G forum. Ford spent $750 million on reconstructions and upgrades at its Michigan Assembly Plant, where the resurrected offroad legend was brought back to life. Customers who reserved early last summer are getting their first Bronco 2021 Broncos at the dealerships.
