Bronco designed for comfort.
The Ford Bronco has barely made it to dealership lots, and there are already rumors of new models. Ford Authority interviewed Ford about a possible fixed-roof upscale Bronco. Ford intended that most customers would drive their Bronco without the roof on, but there may still be room for a Land Rover Defender with a fixed-roof model. Would you choose a more luxurious Bronco than the current models?
The world has been captivated by the return of the Ford Bronco. This is one the most anticipated new vehicles in the past decade. Ford has done its part to make a Bronco that meets everyone’s needs. Bronco’s market segmentation is the key to its success.
You can choose between a 2-door and 4-door model. There are two engine options, as well as a manual and automatic transmission. There are seven trim levels to choose from, starting with a base trim with steel wheels and ending up on the top-of-the line First Edition model. Each package includes every option possible.
Customers can also choose from a variety of factory options. The Sasquatch package includes Off-road-focused wheels, 35 inch tires, larger fender flares and a 4.7 final drive ratio. The package can be added to any Bronco, further diversifying their product range.
Where would an upscale Ford Bronco go? Based on Ford’s current offerings, there is plenty of room for a Bronco SUV. A fixed-roof Bronco is a great option for customers who don’t want an open-air experience but still desire a refined package. Ford could use this platform to reach more customers.
