Yes, this includes future Bronco derivatives and the Bronco Sport.
The Ford Bronco is the most sought-after and popular Blue Oval nameplate, aside from the Ford F-150. The First Edition Bucking Horse was so popular that all reservations were filled within hours of its launch last year.
Ford dealers are likely to be influenced by the popularity of the new nameplate. Some dealers have already begun to build a showroom to showcase the Bronco and Bronco Sport.
Dearborn was not the one who came up with the idea for a Bronco showroom. The idea was conceived by the dealers, and Ford made renderings for the standalone stores at their request (see gallery below). According to Automotive News, the automaker will reward dealers who open Bronco showrooms with slightly increased Bronco allocations.
Ford expects 100 dealers to construct their Bronco showrooms, either near or connected to the original Ford showroom. These standalone stores will be branded with the Bucking Horse logo.
Both the Bronco Sport and Bronco have been in high demand. Ford stated that Bronco sales are at 65 percent despite not yet being in showrooms. Bronco Sport has sold 23356 units in the first quarter 2021.
We do hope Ford can keep up with demand for the Bronco Sport and Bronco, considering the global chip supply crisis which forced Ford to cancel its traditional summer production holiday.
Ford Bronco deliveries will be completed by June. Expect the off-roading SUV to arrive on the roads within a few months.
