These four editions will appeal to those who love badges and black trim.

Ford arrived at the Texas State Fair 2018 with some surprises in its SUV lineup. To tempt potential buyers to showrooms, the company offers four special edition models: two for the Explorer, and two for its Expedition. You can be sure that your Stetson hat is correct, as the announcement was made at the 2018 Texas State Fair.

Craig Patterson, Ford’s large SUV marketing director, stated that people want SUVs. SUVs are highly sought after by anyone who is adventurous, whether they’re a couple looking to transport home improvement supplies or a family preparing for a long trip. Ford wants an SUV that can cater to all circumstances.

Although we aren’t sure that adding a Texas Edition badge on a Ford Expedition will change the conditions in which it is used, you can now buy one. The Texas Edition is now available on the 2019 Expedition Limited. This Limited adds 22-inch wheels, and to the badge. The Expedition Stealth Edition comes with 22-inch wheels, but it also adds lots of black trim to things such as the mirrors and light bezels, roof rails and Expedition badges. To give the seas of darkness some contrast, inside, black is traded out for red stitching.

The Explorer Limited Luxury Edition takes the Explorer Platinum model down one notch. The package includes 20-inch aluminum painted wheels, Nirvana leather seating with Active Motion, an upgraded interior trim, and chrome exterior reflector covers. The Explorer Desert Copper Edition adds 20-inch polished aluminum wheels and chrome mirror covers. It also brightens up the interior by adding copper highlights and black leather stitching.

Ford does not mention whether these limited editions will be made, but we believe that the company will make as many SUVs as possible due to the high demand. These changes are not revolutionary but add interest to Ford’s large SUV range.
