The original preview was in January . The model was created under the “One Ford” strategy, so it is almost identical to the US Fusion. The European version will come in several body styles, including a sedan and hatchback.
Although the Fusion’s interior is unchanged, it has a contemporary design and high-quality materials. You have MyFord Touch and SyNC. There are also options for a panoramic glass roof, inflatable rear seatbelts, and a WiFi hotspot which supports up to five devices.
A variety of engines will be found under the hood. Although details have not been released, the following options are available:
A 1.0 liter EcoBoost with 170 PS (91kW/123 hp), 170 Nm (175 lbft) torque and 200 Nm (247 lbft) overboost
A hybrid version with a 2.0-liter petrol engine, and a 35kW lithium battery
Unknown diesel engine that can be paired with an all-wheel drive system
