What was the last time that you saw modern phone dial-style wheels?
The Ford Mustang may be a classic American car, but there is still a lot of love for this pony car around the world. German tuner Loder1899 gives the Mustang a subtle yet powerful look by adding a body kit, and a set of wheels.
For EUR799 (or $893 at current exchange rates), the company sells an eight-piece splitter set that wraps around the body. The Mustang’s front features pointed edges, which make it look more imposing.
Loder1899 also offers a rear-wing that matches the splitter kit for an additional EUR1,199 ($1,340). It is quite low profile and has a curved shape. According to the tuner, the brackets are made of sintered carbon and weigh 3.3 pounds (1.55 kilograms).
Klassik B wheels, which retail at EUR691 ($772) complete the look. These wheels measure 9.5×20 inches and feature a phone-dial-style design that has eight circular openings. Brass rivets are placed around the outer edge to contrast the matte black finish.
Loder1899 also offers performance upgrades. Loder1899 offers a stainless-steel exhaust with a flap system to power the V8 engine. Lowering springs reduce the front by 0.98 inches (25 mm) and the rear to 0.79 inches (20 mm).
The new Mach1 is coming soon. Recent teaser images show it with a new grille that has two circular openings. Ford also hinted at performance upgrades for its 5.0-liter V8. A full premiere is expected later in the year.
