American pony with European steroids
It’s always fascinating to see a Ford Mustang with the “Made In USA” label get European aftermarket treatment. Wolf Racing, a local tuner, has treated the GT model in its new flavor to Germany’s sports car.
The upgrade package is available for both the coupe or convertible body styles. It focuses on a supercharger system for the 5.0-liter V8 motor. In stock form, the naturally aspirated engine produces 460 horsepower and 425 pound-feet (570 Newton meters) of torque. Wolf Racing will unlock 690 HP and 583 lb/ft (790 Nm) with their supercharger kit.
The supercharger is in place and the Ford will take less than four seconds for the 0-62mph (0-100 km/h) task. It will then reach speeds of just under 200 mph (322 km/h). The Neuenstein-based tuner will charge EUR15,990, or $18,200 at current exchange rates, and offer a two year warranty.
The GT’s stock wheels may be removed so that the GT can receive a set of 21-inch wheels in two different designs, as shown in the next images.
