This stang-look-at-me has been given a bold, two-tone makeover.
The 2016 Ford Mustang GT was originally a standard 2016 Mustang GT with an naturally aspirated V8. Now it’s a supercharged beast that has the looks to match its new pony power. Roush Performance’s R2300 TVS kit and Roush Performance’s 5.0-liter engine boost output by nearly 300 hp (224kW) and 285 Nm over the stock GT-spec Mustang. Roush installed a supercharger and handed the car over to Carlex Design for a personal makeover that reflected the owner’s taste and style.
The client chose to use a two-tone combination of red and white inside and out. The car’s logo was also dressed in the American flag. Although the design isn’t suitable for everyone, it looks great. These images show that the fit and finish are excellent, just as you would expect from Carlex Design. To make this Mustang GT stand out, the striking red leather upholstery is applied to the dashboard, doors panels and seats. The tubular quilted pattern was created especially for it.
The dash features a handmade mustang design on the passenger’s side. It’s also visible on the floor mats. To contrast the vibrant theme, the extravagant interior cabin features white inserts and piping. The leather-clad steering wheel has a monochrome appearance.
Although there is no price information, it’s obvious that this type of work won’t come cheap considering the many changes to this 2016 Ford Mustang GT. We do know that the Roush supercharger kits cost the owner $7,799, as per the listing on the tuner’s website.
