The Legend Edition Mustang GT has a 3.0-liter supercharger and an air-to water intercooler. The Mustang Shelby GT500 has a supercharger that has a 2.7-liter displacement. It is not enough to have more power. Hennessey also installs fuel injectors that are more powerful, a high flow intake and stainless steel cat-back exhaust.
The Mustang’s horsepower is increased to 808 (602.5 Kilowatts) or 677 lb-ft (917.9 Newton meters). A standard Mustang GT’s 460 horsepower (343 kW), and 420 lbft (569.4 Nm) respectively, while a Shelby GT500 produces 760 HP (566.7kW) and 625 Lb-ft (847.4 Nm). The Legend Edition Mustang can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.3 seconds. It can also complete the quarter-mile in 10.7 seconds at 132 MPH (212.43 Kph). The top speed is more than 200 mph (321.87 km/h).
The powertrain is complemented by a lowered suspension. The Mustang rides on black 20-inch 10-spoke wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 tire. Brembo six-piston Brembo calipers are available with 15.1-inch diameter rotors in the front. Exterior parts include a carbon-fiber front splitter, side sills and a rear spoiler with an gurney lip. Hennessey did not release pricing information for the Legend Edition. They plan to produce 50.
