It’s also known as the Mach-Eau.
You want to purchase a Ford Mustang E but are afraid you will miss the gasoline smell. You’re not the only one. According to a Blue Oval-commissioned study, one fifth of drivers would miss the gasoline smell the most if they switched to an electric car. Nearly 70% of those surveyed said they still miss the gasoline smell to some extent. Don’t worry if you are one of these people. Ford Europe has you covered with the new Mach Eau. It is a premium scent for people who love the performance of the Mustang Mach-E GT but still enjoy the nostalgic smells of petrol cars.

We checked our calendars, and it’s way past April 1, so we know Ford isn’t lying on this one. It isn’t a fragrance you can buy at your local Ford dealership, or grocery store.
Although the Mach-Eau was unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed it is not yet available for purchase. Ford is trying to dispel myths about electric cars, and convince non-EV owners of the benefits of electrified vehicles. The new fragrance is not just a gasoline scent you can wear. Ford stated that the new scent combines smoky elements, rubber aspects, and an ‘animal” element, all in keeping with the Mustang heritage. Notable is the fact that Mach-Eau was developed by Olfiction, a renowned fragrance consultancy. Their goal was to examine the chemicals released by cars’ interiors, engines and gasoline. Para-cresol and benzaldehyde are two examples of these chemicals. They are then combined with blue ginger, geranium and geranium. Although Mach-Eau is not available for purchase, you will have the ingredients list to make your own.
