Ford Ranger gets Off-Road Appearance Pack, but Only in Brazil

Pickup truck customization doesn’t just belong in the USA.

North American Ford Ranger drivers love to customize their pickup trucks. Seventy five percent of Ford pickups leave the dealership with an appearance package. Brazil is a country that loves being different. Ford has unveiled a new offroad package with both functional and visual enhancements for a lower price.

This package is available for purchase in parts. It is based upon the Ranger Storm, which is very popular in the country. The black grille is the most noticeable piece. It has “RANGER” boldly written in bold letters. Due to a redesign, it’s the only piece of the package that is limited to the 2019/2020 model. Other accessories can be used with any Ranger model. However, it will depend on whether the pickup is a single-cab or double-cab.

You can also get fender extensions that protect your vehicle from scratches, a sealed marine cover, and running boards. These parts are just a small part of what Ford offers. There are also Storm’s Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus Tires, which were developed exclusively for the Storm. Also, a snorkel is available. The snorkel is available for both the turbodiesel engines 3.2-liter and 2.2-liter. It allows for you to cross 800 millimeters (311.5 inches) of water.

The new package and parts bring the Storm’s most compelling features at a lower price while giving owners the opportunity to distinguish their truck. There will be many enthusiasts as consumers move to larger vehicles. Ford should be able to grab a share of this market by offering its own OEM-engineered and engineered aftermarket parts. Ford offers several Ranger appearance options, which seems to be a smart business strategy.
