These commemorative models are representative of four themes that are central to Mexican culture.
Lamborghini celebrates its 10th year in Mexico. The first Mexican dealership opened in 2010. The Huracan Evo is one of four special editions by the Italian automaker. Grand Chelem, the brand’s Mexican distributor, designed the super-sports cars. Ad Personam, Lamborghini’s exclusive customization programme at its studio in Sant’Agata Bolognese is also responsible for the creation of the super sports cars.
These four Huracan Evo models are available in a wide range of colors and finishes. They represent four themes in Mexican culture: Vita, Morte (Death), Sogno(Dream), Tempo (Time). Every vehicle is equipped with a plaque commemorating each theme.
Edicion Vita is the flagship model in the series and is highlighted by the special shade of Verde Ermes green and Oro Elios gold accents. Inside, the gold accents are continued by the sun that enhances the trimmings and stitching. The Vita is represented by an eagle, which symbolizes freedom and success.
Edicion Morte on the other side, however, is adorned with a skull emblem and Blu Astraeus (blue), exterior colors with Bronzo Serse accents. This theme is carried on inside, with the stitching and seats.
The Edicion Sogno, which has a Blu Symi (lightblue) exterior and Oro Elios highlights (gold), is the most distinguishing of the four special-edition models. Lamborghini stated that the vivid colors remind him of mythical-like creatures found in Mexican folk art. This is why the emblem with the two-headed dragon was created. The interior is given a two-tone look with gold stitching and white accents.
Edicion Tempo, which is a ten-year partnership between Lamborghini Mexico, is symbolized by the snake plaque. It represents the reinvention of oneself through the shedding of skin. It is distinguished by its Nero Nemesis (black exterior) and Bronzo Serse underlines.
