We need your help to identify all five.
Motor1.com loves renderings. We even have our very own series, where we publish the best virtual drawings every week. We love all types of renderings, from real previews of future models to new additions to bizarre mashups. The weird ones are great fun to talk about, even though they don’t make any sense. This Frankenstein sports car is a great example.
This rendering was created by the Carlifestyle Page on Facebook. It shows what looks like a supercar that has design influences from five cars. Or rather, it’s not just design inspirations, but actual parts taken from five different models and combined into one wild creation. Can you name all five cars? Let’s look at each one more closely.
The front end is clearly inspired by the Audi R8. There also appears to be a hint of Ford Ranger Raptor in its grille. McLaren supplied the massive intakes and the front bumper splitter as well as the side skirts – most likely from a 600LT, 720S or 720S.
The side profile shows a lot of Chevrolet Corvette C8 parts, including the whole back, side windows, mirrors and roof. The wheels are from a 2020 Shelby GT500, or at least that’s what it appears to be.
We can recognize all five cars if we do the math. However, that assumes that there is some inspiration from the Ranger Raptor. That’s something that we don’t know. You can find tons of comments on Carlifestyle’s FB Page trying to guess which cars are in the mix. We invite you to try it in the comments section.
