E61 M5 receives a 750-treatment, 750 PS and 775 Nm of torque to make it one of the most powerful touring cars.
G-Power, a German tuner, doesn’t like being second. Not with respect to horsepower figures, at least. Here are the specs and photos for the G-Power M5 Hurricane RS Touring. It is based on the E61 BMW M5 Touring. This was done following the recent high-speed jaunt along a German autobahn.
The V10 twin-supercharged 5.0 liter V10 engine produces a staggering 750 PS (551kW / 740bhp) as well as 750 Nm (553 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h time is 4.5 seconds. Electronically, the top speed is limited to a record 360 km/h (estate/wagon). G-Power has so much power that it can provide acceleration figures for both the 0-200 km/h (124/mph) sprint (9.5 seconds) and the 0-300 km/h (16.6 seconds).
G-Power SK IIII RS twin supercharger system with a twin scroll, water-cooled intercooler provides most of that power. G-Power can also replace the pistons by forged Mahle units or do an ECU remap.
The ride is provided by 20-inch G-Power Silverstone Diamond wheels with MICHELIN Pilot Sport tires in 285/30 ZR20 and 255/35 ZR 20, respectively. The suspension tuning is compatible with the G5-RS coilover kit, which has adjustable compression and rebound rates as well as height adjustment. G-Power also offers a heavy-duty brake system.
The interior features a full finish in premium leather and Alcantara. This includes the headliner and roof pillars. All of this is done by hand in diamond stitching. Prices in Germany for full-leather outfitting are EUR288.000 plus VAT. For those who buy from abroad, the price is EUR 242,016.80.
